ABOUT PUPPIES ON THE PRAIRIE
Puppies on the Prairie is located on the beautiful and quiet prairie of northeastern South Dakota. We breed quality Shih Tzu puppies that are raised in our home in a family setting. Our puppies are AKC registered, happy, healthy, well socialized, and ready to become your life-long companion. Our puppies are given loving and attentive care while they are with us, and will be well socialized, loved, and a ~little spoiled~ upon arrival to their new homes. Adults for our breeding program are chosen from the finest bloodlines, and are well-screened for sound health before being bred.
OUR GUARANTEE
We guarantee our puppies for one year against genetic disease and stand behind our puppies as being healthy, as stated in our contract/guarantee. We go out of our way to ensure that you are happy with your puppy. We would like to visit with you by phone prior to your puppy purchase. We love our puppies and feel they are precious gifts from God, and great care is taken to make sure they go to loving homes. We are also available for questions that you may have about taking care of your puppy, before, during, and indefinitely after the puppy placement.
OUR FAMILY
Raising puppies is a family affair! Fortunately, I am blessed with lots of good family! Since starting to raise puppies years ago, so many family members have participated in this labor of love. From my parents, siblings, children, nieces, nephews, and now grandchildren–they all have helped raise and love the puppies! This is very important to the puppies as well and
adds to their socialization prior to going to their forever homes. I am honored to place puppies with families that have come back for their 2nd, 3rd, 4th, (and so on...) fur babies! Our puppy families become"family" to us and we like to stay in contact with them and receive puppy updates.
